A brand new course at the new, fashionable time trialling distance of 15 miles saw two impressive inaugural course records setSCCA Private Member Matt Garthwaite beat the nearest opposition by over two minutes in the VTTA (Merseyside) 15 to take the overall win.

50th Anniversary Challenge Ride

A Date For Your Diary – Sunday 17^th September 2023

To mark its 50^th Anniversary, the SCCA presents a “Challenge Ride” on Sunday 17^th September, staring from Westbury and hosted by Mid Shropshire Wheelers.

The main ride, “The Anchor”, is 57 miles and heads west to Montgomery, Abermule and Glanmule, then to Clun via The Anchor climb, returning via Bishop’s Castle and Minsterley.

There will be a shorter 44 mile ride, “The Vale of Kerry”, using the same route to Glanmule and returning via Church Stoke and Minsterley.

Event HQ is Westbury Village Hall.
