A series of 18 ITT events across the whole season promoted by clubs within the SCCA.

For riders looking to take advantage of the wide variety of Time Trial courses in Shropshire there’s The SB Sports Injuries Series, covering 18 County-wide events, giving riders opportunities to try out other club’s courses and to try stretching themselves over longer distances. All entry on the line, there’s been a tweak to the scoring in 2018 with longer distances now gaining bonus points. Whilst most rounds earn 20 points for a win descending in 2 point steps down to 2 points for finishing; generous additional points will be awarded for the 30 mile event and the 3 x 25’s:

30 miles: 30 points for the win down to 6 points for finishing

25 miles: 26 points for the win down to 4 points for finishing

Each rider’s best 12 scores from the 18 rounds count towards County medals, which are awarded in Overall, Women’s, Juniors and Veteran’s (over 40) categories – the first three on actual time, the latter on Veteran’s Standard, which means older Veterans can directly compete with younger ones. These events are tailor-made to give riders an introduction to new courses, and to match themselves against a wider pool of riders, with many friendly season-long rivalries springing up.
